The operator of a hub is in a position of informational and operational power. At the natural gas hubs it is not uncommon for the monies generated from market maker roles, informational advantages operational advantages etc. to exceed the revenues from the activity of the physical storage services for which the storage was originally constructed in the first place.
These services in the natural gas parlance of wheeling, parking, lending, hub transfers, hub lending etc. are very real and have very real value.
The opportunity for these advantages to the energy center owner and operator are quite large. ZEEP’s principals have served in this role for many years and have many advantages in the extraction of value in this area.
