Energy Center Reliability Advantages

Most gasification users employ spare gasifiers as a means of boosting the reliability.  First because they are using inferior gasifiers, but also importantly because disruptions of the fuel produced by gasification is unacceptable to the user even if only for a short while.

The energy center concept would not only use more reliable gasifiers but would use even the spares, and unused base load, on an flexible basis for sales to customers whose energy use was more opportunistic than reliability intensive.

A spare gasifier would be diverted to the Energy Center Customer-Partner's need in the case of a primary gasifier outage.  Upon repair or resumption in the service of the primary gasifier the spare could once again produce less expensive fuel for flexible customers, presumably these customers get a more attractive price because of their ability to consume fuel on this flexible or interruptible basis.
